Owner Bryan R. Smith is a lifelong resident of the Capital Region and currently resides with his wife, Stephanie, and two children, Zach and Lexie, in the town of Guilderland. In 1996, Bryan started his own construction company and it is his love of building that keeps him actively involved in all aspects of the business.

A multi-talented carpenter as well as a creative home designer with an eye for detail, Bryan brings care and precision to all of Bryland’s projects. He works personally with buyers, taking care to incorporate our customer’s vision and preferences throughout the process of customizing floor plans, to create a home design that can exceed expectations.

Bryan’s professionalism is highlighted by becoming one of the first ENERGY STAR^� certified builders in New York State. His emergence as a leader in the residential construction industry is further underscored by serving as Second Vice President & a Director of the Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association, President of the New York State Builders Association, and as a Director with the National Association of Home Builders. In addition, Bryan is a member of the Better Business Bureau and also the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce.
